About Renee Dalo
Renee Dalo has been called “the no-nonsense Mary Poppins of Wedding Planning”, and it’s an apt description. She planned her first wedding twelve years ago purely as a hobby, and in the interim years, turned her hobby into a successful boutique wedding planning company, Moxie Bright Events. Moxie Bright Events is known for producing elegant and fun events with an emphasis on personalization and intentional design. Renee’s background in professional theatre and fine dining is the perfect foundation for a career in events, and that background informs everything Moxie Bright touches.
Renee Dalo has presented Wedding Industry topics on many stages across the nation. Renee has presented at Wedding MBA in Las Vegas, NV, Creative at Heart (Denver, CO), Let’s Plan Conference (FL) and Tide Talk LA (CA), among others.
In the blogosphere, Renee is a frequent contributor to Planners Lounge and has also published educational content on Southern California Bride blog. Renee is currently the Vice President for the Wedding International Professionals Association (WIPA) Southern California. She formerly served as the Education Chair for The Association of Bridal Consultants, Greater Los Angeles. Renee is also a Leader for Rising Tide, having led the LA East group for the past three years.
