20 On the Rise

I’m very humbled and grateful to be a 2018 winner of 20 On the Rise!

20 On the Rise is the initiative of Rising Tide Society, Honeybook, Peerspace, and Gusto, who united to recognize individuals who are making an impact in the creative economy and freelance industry. This initiative isn’t a popularity contest nor is it a ‘most liked’ list. 20 On The Rise is a curated list of 20 rising stars in 5 categories nominated by you and selected based on empowerment, impact, purpose, and passion. The categories include Designers, Event Professionals, Image Makers, Makers & Small Business Experts.

To be honest, I haven’t really found the right words yet to express how much this acknowledgment means to me. Community over Competition is such a huge part of my creative life, and I am always striving to empower and encourage my fellow creatives through my work with Rising Tide Society, The Association of Bridal Consultants Greater Los Angeles, my podcast, Rock Your Wedding Biz, and also this website you’re reading right now!

A huge thanks to those who nominated me (shout out to Amber Anderson, Tamara Brown & Casey Brodley) and for all those at Honeybook, RTS, Peerspace & Gusto for selecting me as a winner. I look forward to broadening my educational platform in this coming year and reaching more creatives in the Wedding & Event Industry.
